Working model: Hybrid working from our Guildford Office
We’re looking for a Digital Publishing Manager to join the EA Ventures Publishing team. The team exists to deliver experiences that go beyond our franchises and connect us to the broader world of sport.
You will report to the Editor In Chief, working closely to deliver a comprehensive publishing strategy to grow a dedicated and engaged global audience for the EA SPORTS app.
You will have a strong understanding of digital content and its role in engaging younger demographics. You will have experience managing content delivery from source to platform, with deep knowledge of packaging content to maximize engagement in the sports market (football, NFL, and more). You will also act as a key communication link for our agencies, regularly conveying sourced content and its utilization on EA SPORTS Platforms.
Building relationships with internal franchise teams and external partners will be crucial. Success in this role will help bring high-quality content to the app and enhance EA SPORTS' reputation as a destination for entertaining sports content.
Responsibilities:
1. Build a content pipeline and approval process to ensure appropriate content is received and delivered.
2. Author content brief requests to potential partners with the Editor In Chief, ensuring all needs are met and processes followed from engagement to delivery and reporting.
3. Manage a content tracker for ingested and produced content, keeping the team informed of issues and opportunities.
4. Coordinate with external agencies to ensure content is published on the right channels, respecting embargoes and geo-fencing based on contracts.
5. Work with platform and engineering teams to develop content delivery methods.
6. Identify suitable end platforms for content types, collaborating with the team to maximize audience engagement across EA's ecosystem, including the app, social media, and other destinations.
Qualifications:
* Experience in content production, campaign or channel strategy, or product marketing at a mid-weight level.
* Experience in brand building, marketing, campaign management, or growth in entertainment, sports, esports, video games, or related sectors.
* Expertise in global sports and understanding of content usage trends within the sports industry.
