Job Description:
Highly competitive salary, monthly bonus of 10% if sales targets achieved (with the potential of 20% if stretch targets achieved), generous employee discount, annual jewellery uniform allowance and other excellent benefits!
We are currently seeking an organised, pro-active and results-driven assistant store manager to join our team. If you thrive on leading retail operations, inspiring a high-performing team to surpass targets, and providing world-class service, we'd love to hear from you!
In the UK, we are proud to have recently been recognized in the Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work,’ one of only 11 in the ‘very large’ employers category.
The role
The assistant store manager is our brand ambassador, responsible for the daily operational running of the store. You will report to the store manager, support them, and ensure the store's commercial success by managing operational aspects of a high-performing store.
About Pandora
The largest jewellery company in the world, giving voice to millions of people's loves every day. We sell three pieces of our handcrafted jewellery every second, with almost 7,000 points of sale worldwide and a strong online presence.
We pursue sustainability in everything we do, setting ambitious and measurable targets across sourcing, materials, and marketing.
Our people
Our global workforce of over 33,000 passionate people has helped Pandora achieve record earnings, driven by a long-term growth strategy. Our culture is energizing and ambitious, empowering us to be ourselves and deliver our best.
As we grow, we continue investing in our talent. We seek individuals who share our values and can help realize our ambitions.
What to expect from the role
* Support, coach, and motivate the in-store team to meet targets, exemplifying Pandora's customer service standards
* Focus on retail operations, including stock control, store procedures, team organization, security, rotas, and sales performance tracking
* Manage the store successfully in the absence of the store manager
* Maintain a strong retail floor presence, influencing sales and team visibility
* Receive thorough training on our handcrafted luxury products to become a Pandora product expert and support team development
The successful candidate
Our assistant store managers are brand ambassadors. The ideal candidate is a capable leader and passionate team player, confident in supporting their team to deliver an unforgettable Pandora experience.
Experience with a leading brand or consumer retailing is preferred. We seek individuals who embody our core values: dreaming, daring, caring, and delivering.
Key qualities include:
* Proven experience in driving sales and profitability
* A passion for excellent customer service
* Strong communication skills for coaching and team building
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs
* Positive attitude and enthusiasm for Pandora's products and values
* Well-presented with a taste for desirable products and retail passion
Why work with us?
Our people are central to our success. We offer competitive rewards, career progression, and a comprehensive benefits package:
* Competitive salary
* Monthly bonus of 10% on sales targets, up to 20% for stretch targets
* Annual jewellery uniform allowance
* Access to discounts via our online benefits platform
* Support services through ‘Retail Trust’ for health, wellbeing, and legal advice
* Parties, incentives, and gifts throughout the year
