Due to an increase in growth and continued success, a brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Technician to join a world-renowned company, that has an extremely strong reputation with industry leading customers. This position is based at their modern manufacturing facility in the Sheffield area. Reporting to the Production Manager, your day-to-day duties include:
Using specialised materials to create intricate products.
Performing routine visual quality inspections throughout the production process.
Assemble small components together by following the product specifications.
completing and maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation.
Monitoring workflow and coordinating tasks to ensure production timelines are achieved.
Adhering to all company health and safety regulations.
This role would suit someone with experience of Production Technician who has worked as a Production Technician, Assembly Operative or Quality Inspector within a manufacturing or production. The successful Production Technician will have:
Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
The ability to identify and report potential production difficulties before occurring.
Ability to work overtime every other weekend.
Great time management and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and great problem-solving skills.
Experience working successfully within a team.
Should the role become permanent, the company offers an attractive benefits package, including a generous hourly rate. While the role remains on a temporary basis, the benefits will include:
£14.00 - £16.80 per hour.
Morning and afternoon shifts on rotation (Morning - 06:00am - 14:00pm Afternoons 14:00pm - 22:00pm).
Overtime every other weekend on Saturdays and Sundays 6am - 12pm paid at time and a half.
Temp to perm.
