Biocatalysts is comprised of 4 companies, headquartered in Cardiff (Wales, UK) and co-located in Nieuwkuijk (Netherlands), Tampa (Florida, USA) and Ascheberg (Germany). Brought together as an integrated Bioproducts Division in October 2023, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of BRAIN Biotech Group, based in Zwingenberg (Germany). We serve customers globally in markets such as food, baking, beverage and pharma / life science, with a view to become and stay the worlds leading speciality enzyme company and by the quality and dedication of our people, exceed our customers expectations.
Responsibilities
* To proactively identify, qualify and manage new leads following planned marketing campaigns and exhibitions whilst providing support to our Business Managers.
* Build strong relationships, deliver excellent customer service through verbal and written communication.
* Liaise with Business Managers and provide administrative support.
* Process sample requests and lab work requests and routine follow up.
* Qualify and follow up on leads from specific marketing campaigns and exhibitions as well as for customers downloading marketing material.
* Sales forecasting for all non-strategic or key customers and maintaining the overall sales forecast.
* Gate-keeping leads from Academics and non-trade countries.
* Progress leads and opportunities >£50K (Bronze) and updating on Dynamics CRM.
* Handle incoming customer enquiries by telephone or email and identifying potential strategic opportunities.
* All Administration tasks including quotations, invoicing, and regulatory documentation in collaboration with the Regulatory Team.
* Communicate annual price revisions to Bronze & Silver maintenance customers.
* Carry out the responsibilities stated in the Managing Directors Health & Safety Policy detailed in paragraphs 9 and 10 of his Management Directive.
* Be conversant with and adopt the procedures stated in the Environmental Management System (EMS) Manual and its supporting documents.
