We are looking for a bright and friendly person to join our team and help support families through our Welcome Desk. Our ideal person would be:

Job Purpose
* To provide a professional, welcoming, personable service to our families, focusing on our parents/carers to support them with enquiries, bookings, payments, handover of children and general customer service.
* To support club staff with: club administration, general running of the club and social media posting.
Hours:
* Monday to Friday 2.30pm to 5.30pm (option to not work Fridays)

Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
The receptionist is responsible for supporting our families by:
* being a central point of contact for our families whilst following agreed communication protocols in person and on the phone, email, text and messaging systems as set by the Head of Communications and/or Head of Operations;
* directing communications to appropriate staff where necessary;
* being on our welcome desk where children are collected and using these opportunities to celebrate the service provided during handover;
* ensuring the welcome desk is tidy and presented as agreed by Head of Communications and Customer Relations;
* manage and update parent/carer accounts on the online booking system and CRM systems;
* taking and posting photos and videos on social media whilst paying particular attention to GDPR, data protection and permissions;
* providing relevant content for club newsletters.
Administration and Club Running
The receptionist supports the Site Leader by:
* supporting the management of the club register for children arriving and leaving whilst following missing child procedures;
* dealing with basic, low level first aid of children;
* helping with displays, labelling, a-boards and presentation of the club;
* using a range of IT systems to support the administration of the club;
* being alert on radio communications;
* and other reasonable administrative duties.
Sales
The receptionist ensures increasing sales by:
* being parent/carer sales focused;
* ensuring continued sales through face to face, phone conversations and messages using scripts, sign up forms and T&Cs forms;
* supporting the Head of Communications and enacting any sales strategies.

The receptionist sets a example to other staff by:
* fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and always demonstrating the behavioural and equal opportunities policies of the organisation at all times
* by challenging inappropriate or discriminatory behaviour and language by staff;
* promoting, modelling and enacting the vision, value, mission and brand statements of the organisation;
* and supporting other staff as required from arising reasonable duties.
