The Role
This is a senior leadership position requiring a dynamic, hands-on professional who can balance heritage stewardship with commercial performance. You will oversee all operations, and ensure every guest experiences the charm, warmth, and quality expected from a historic country hotel.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide strategic leadership and oversee daily hotel operations
· Protect and enhance the character and reputation of this historic property
· Lead and develop teams across front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and events
· Managing the health & safety within the business with all employees
· Drive revenue growth through occupancy, weddings, events, and seasonal offerings
· Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction and online reputation
· Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control to achieve financial targets
· Build partnerships with local suppliers, tourism bodies, and community organisations
About You
· Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or General Manager in a boutique, luxury, or heritage property
· Passion for historic buildings, hospitality, and storytelling guest experiences
· Strong commercial acumen and revenue management expertise
· Inspiring leadership style with a commitment to team development
· Exceptional attention to detail and guest service standards
· Understanding of heritage property care and operational challenges is highly desirable

Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
