We're looking for an Application Support & Test Analyst to join our dynamic IT team at cardfactory, supporting critical business applications and ensuring high-quality software delivery across our supply chain and business development functions.This is a dual-role opportunity where you'll play a key part in maintaining the performance, availability, and security of our core systems, while also leading the planning and execution of test activities across multiple platforms. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners, helping to drive innovation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced retail environment. Based at Junction 41 in Wakefield, with free parking and a flexible, hybrid way of working, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in our team. Colleagues are required to work in the office for a minimum of 1-2 days per week, with the expectation of additional attendance when needed. • Providing 2nd/3rd line support for key business applications across the Card Factory Group.• Investigating and resolving complex incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions.• Supporting the delivery of key IT projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.• Developing and executing test scenarios, cases, and scripts across various test phases.• Raising and managing defects, ensuring timely triage and resolution.• Maintaining accurate technical documentation and sharing knowledge within the team.• Participating in an on-call rota to support out-of-hours incidents and test deployments.• Identifying opportunities for operational improvements and supporting the transition to cloud-based and automated solutions. • Experience supporting ERP systems such as SAP S4/HANA or Microsoft Dynamics AX.• Familiarity with integration platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, SSIS, EDI) and eCommerce systems (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud).• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences.• Experience in system testing across the full software development lifecycle.• Ability to plan, execute, and report on test activities independently.• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
