We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth, expand our customer base, and strengthen relationships with key partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with B2B clients, suppliers, and partners.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
* Work closely with the marketing and buying teams to align growth strategies with brand objectives.
* Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
* Manage and track the sales pipeline, providing regular forecasts and performance reports.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in retail, homeware, interiors, or lifestyle industries).
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to spot market opportunities.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term professional relationships.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
Qualifications
* Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, not essential).
