Are you an experienced band 5 nurse who is ready to develop your leadership skills in a band 6 role on one of our Older Person's Rehab units - Alex / Anne / Henry wards. We will have a band 6 opportunity in each of these wards to backfill those nurses going to the winter ward.
There is also a longer secondment opportunity on Henry ward.
In AGM we are committed to developing and preparing the band 7 Ward Sisters & Charge Nurses of the future. We have our very own band 6 Leadership programme and will happily enrol you on this straightaway.

Main duties of the job
Guys and St Thomas’ Older Persons Unit provide acute and rehabilitation services in each of the wards - Alexandra, Anne and Henry Wards. We have high standards and ensure our nursing workforce has the necessary skills to deliver the best care possible.
We are looking for senior staff nurses who will assist the ward manager in providing day to day support for the nursing team by providing strong leadership.
The teams pride themselves on their cohesive multidisciplinary approach that is patient-centred. These posts will suit a pro-active practitioner who wants to make a difference for our most vulnerable patients. You will be expected to support the educational programmes on each unit. Older person's and or stroke experience is desirable but not essential.
