EYFS SEN Support Assistant – Autism Focus

Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

Love helping children find their voice and confidence? This EYFS role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships and supporting young learners with autism.
You’ll work one-to-one and in small groups, encouraging communication, creativity, and curiosity. Each moment you share helps a child take a step closer to independence.
The role involves:
1. Providing 1:1 and small group support for children with autism
2. Using visual aids, sensory tools, and routines to support learning
3. Teaming up with teachers, speech therapists, and families to ensure progress
You’ll need:
4. Experience in an early years or SEND setting
5. A nurturing and consistent approach
6. A big dose of patience and empathy
7. The ability to drive is a bonus

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
