What you'll do
As a Distribution Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our UK distribution partners across both consumer and B2B channels. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of a high-value stock holding and order portfolio, delivering accurate forecasts, and identifying new growth opportunities in the distribution landscape.
This role combines commercial responsibility with detail-oriented execution. You will provide data-driven insights, maintain flawless operational processes, and support the wider sales team in delivering sustainable growth across our distribution partners
How you'll do it
* Take ownership of a high-value stock holding and order portfolio, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and operational excellence.
* Develop and manage strong day-to-day relationships with UK distribution partners, serving as their trusted contact.
* Deliver accurate consumer and B2B sales forecasts, using advanced Excel to model performance and anticipate risks.
* Analyse account performance, stock levels, and market data to identify opportunities for incremental growth.
* Collaborate with National Account Managers to support joint business planning, commercial negotiations, and promotional activity.
* Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Planning, Operations, Marketing) to ensure seamless delivery of customer commitments.
* Identify and pursue new distribution opportunities, helping expand reach and unlock new revenue streams.
* Prepare and present account performance reviews and reporting dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
* Share best practices and insights with the wider team, contributing to a positive, collaborative sales culture.
What you'll need
* Strong commercial awareness with a high attention to detail.
* Advanced Excel capability (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, forecasting models essential).
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Collaborative team player with a hands-on approach.
What you've done
* 2–4 years' experience in account management, sales support, or distribution management (FMCG, consumer electronics, or B2B preferred).
* Demonstrated ability to manage a high-value stock holding and order portfolio, delivering accurate forecasts.
* Experience working with distributors, resellers, or channel partners.
* Produced and presented data-driven reports to internal and/or external stakeholders.
* Supported promotional planning, negotiations, or business development activities.
