Responsibilities
* Utilising engineering drawings, data and documentation in order to undertake the measuring, diagnosing & verification of technical performance on a wide range of electrical and electronic assemblies and components
* This covers sensors, automatic voltage regulators, wiring harnesses and other bespoke assemblies
* Gaining knowledge and expertise in the use of a wide range of common and specialist measuring and diagnostic testing equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, and other Automated Testing Equipment, in order to follow a technical testing specification and process to ensure individual components and assemblies meet the required specification
Qualifications
* Level 4 Apprenticeship Certificate (Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Standard)
* Higher National Certificate in Engineering
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4/A-C which must include Maths & English & a Science/Technical Subject AND 1 of the following:
o 3 A-levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above. 1 subject must be Maths and 1 subject must be in Engineering or a Science/Technical subject
o An equivalent level 3 vocational qualification (must be a STEM related subject that aligns to the scheme/area you are applying for and worth a minimum of 96 UCAS points)
