PetroStrat Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance team in Conwy. About PetroStrat Ltd We are a specialist stratigraphic consultancy providing comprehensive geological services to the Oil & Gas industry. Our expert team delivers micropalaeontology, nannopalaeontology, palynology, and sedimentology services, alongside laboratory services. We pride ourselves on high-resolution, quantitative reservoir scale studies and real-time biostratigraphic services. The Role This is a critical position within our Finance department, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. You'll be responsible for ensuring all supplier invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers, and supporting the company's financial compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities Purchase Ledger Management: Raise purchase orders, process invoices on SAGE, verify delivery notes, and manage payment authorisations Expenses & Credit Cards: Oversee HSBC MiVision credit card requests, reconcile monthly statements, and process employee expense claims Project Billing: Export SAGE data for re-billing purposes and liaise with Project Coordinators Bank Reconciliation: Enter transactions, apply nominal codes, and reconcile all bank accounts monthly Supplier Management: Issue new supplier forms, assess credentials, and support QMS compliance evaluations Process Improvement: Monitor current procedures and implement enhanced processes where appropriate Essential Requirements Education: Good standard of general education with GCSE English and Mathematics Experience: 3 years in accounts payable, including multi-currency environments Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, SAGE, and QuickBooks Personal Qualities: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, organised and methodical approach Desirable Requirements Further education qualifications (A Levels, NVQ/BTEC in Finance or Business) Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Assistant or Manager Experience working in fast-paced environments Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer Opportunity to work with a leading consultancy in the Oil & Gas sector Collaborative team environment that values respect and teamwork Professional development opportunities Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation Company Values We are guided by our core values of commitment and accountability, flexibility and adaptability, initiative and innovation, continuous improvement, and respect and teamwork.
