Organon is hiring a Project Engineer to join our world‑class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.
In this pivotal role you will support the delivery of a new, state‑of‑the‑art granulation suite. As part of the project team you will be involved from early concept through to commissioning and validation. This is a hands‑on opportunity for a motivated engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced, regulated environment and enjoys working collaboratively to bring complex pharmaceutical projects to life.
Role Responsibilities
* Act as a key member of the project team delivering a new granulation suite.
* Contribute to business case development, vendor selection, and project design.
* Define project scope and collaborate with engineering partners on detailed design.
* Deliver accurate cost estimates and manage budgets for assigned work packages.
* Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and engineering standards.
* Support construction, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
* Lead change control processes and documentation.
* Work autonomously while contributing to a high‑performing, cross‑functional team.
Education, Experience and Skills
* Degree‑level qualification in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
* Proven track record in delivering projects within regulated industries (e.g., Pharma, FMCG).
* Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
* Experience with GMP compliance and validation processes.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and contractor supervision abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
* Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
* Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable but not essential.
