CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for Process Operators to join our client based in Liverpool, L33 area.
The Process Operator is an expert role in the team and is directly responsible for the safe, efficient, and right-first-time manufacturing of confectionery. The Process Operator works with Food Safety and Health and Safety in mind at all times.
You will follow strict process instructions to prepare each batch allocated to you, adhering to all SOPs and requirements, and seeking support and advice from the Production Shift Manager, QA team, and R&D team when required to ensure batches are made right-first-time.
You must have a solid background in food manufacturing with experience in handling raw materials, including allergens, and finished products. You will have knowledge of CCP procedures and understand the significance of compliance. You will possess excellent time management skills, a keen eye for detail, and be confident using new technology.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Food Safety Level 2
2. Allergen control/awareness training
3. Chemical handling training
4. Basic mechanical understanding and competence
5. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle competing demands and priorities
6. A strong work ethic and be a natural team player
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 06.00am-14.30pm / 13.30pm-22.00pm (rotating weekly)
Pay rate: £13.36 per hour
After 40 hours: £20.04
