Customer Service Executive
Location: Glasgow, Head Office
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Days: Monday to Friday, 39.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,580.40 plus target related commission (up to £400 per month)

Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Matthew Algie/Tchibo to apply for the position of Customer Service Executive on a full-time permanent basis. In your new role, you will handle all incoming queries, orders, complaints and requests by responding in a polite, friendly, confident and helpful manner to process the customer’s needs either directly or by handing off to a relevant internal department. Your aim is to achieve optimum levels of customer service and build lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer inbound calls within the target set by the business.
* Keep customers informed and updated until the issue is resolved.
* Process all incoming product and applicable machine orders accurately and punctually, staying up to date with our products, services and offers.
* liaise with logistics, carriers and other departments to investigate and resolve delivery issues.
* Show willingness to learn and to pass on what you have learned.
* Work independently as part of a team to ensure all shifts are sufficiently covered, providing cover for other team members as needed.
Experience
Significant relevant experience in a Customer Service / call handling environment is essential. The role requires meeting defined sales targets; routine processing and administration is beneficial, and handling technical and product specification enquiries is helpful.
Skills / Knowledge
* Ability to work to targets set by the business.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
* Computer literate.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage own workload to expected standards.
