Exciting opportunity to join the Medicine team at Ysbyty Gwynedd as Assistant Clinical Services Rota Coordinator. This role offers a chance to develop management‑level skills.
Applicants must be currently employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
Main Duties
The Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support to the Specialist Manager/Lead Manager, collecting, recording, analysing, interpreting, and reporting statistical data required to monitor compliance with Welsh Government targets. The Coordinator also assists in ensuring sufficient staffing to support medical staff so the department runs smoothly.
Responsibilities include coordinating, organising, attending, and administering a number of meetings.
Desirable to speak Welsh.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Knowledge
* NVQ 3 in Administration/RSA III or equivalent.
* GCSE A-C in English & Maths or equivalent experience.
Desirable Criteria
* NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or equivalent.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience
Essential Criteria
* Significant office administration experience.
* Able to use own initiative and judgment to analyse and resolve problems.
* Ability to support and deliver to deadlines across a wide range of administration processes.
* Experience of communicating directly at all levels in an organisation.
Desirable Criteria
* Previous NHS experience.
* Rota administration experience.
Aptitude And Abilities
Essential Criteria
* Report production and minute taking.
* Advanced keyboard skills.
* Knowledge of the NHS.
* Work as part of a team and on own initiative as required.
