A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the position of Administration Assistant working within the Professional Standards Department (PSD).
The post holder will play an important role in maintaining public trust and confidence by providing administrative support for key areas of business, primarily in vetting but also other PSD functions as and when required.
Vetting is conducted in the police service to help identify, assess and manage risk relating to areas including, but not limited to:
- corruption and coercion
- integrity
- leadership
- national security
- operational safety
- protection of police and organisational assets
- public safety
- public trust and confidence
The role operates in line with the organisation's flexitime policy, which allows employees to work within the hours of 7am and 10pm, at the discretion of their line manager.
The role also operates in line with the agile working policy, which provides opportunities for agile and remote working at the discretion of the employee's line manager.
