To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the UGI/HPB team, ensuring efficient processes within the dietetic service.
The admin assistant will support dietitians in delivering patient care by handling outpatient clinics and performing administrative tasks such as:
1. Triage emails, voicemails, letters, and telephone calls
2. Producing documents including letters, reports, and guidelines as required
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Document patient activities onto the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system following departmental standards
2. Use Trust patient administration systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive)
3. Maintain confidentiality and good interpersonal communication with staff and patients
4. Participate in professional development and mandatory training
5. Manage stock levels of dietary information leaflets and reorder as needed
6. Monitor health and safety, and respond appropriately to emergencies
