The Vacancy
Job Brief:
This role will be dedicated to supporting an individual in Dundee to transition to Perth and live their Good Life in their own home and community.
You will be part of a team of frontline managers who empower individuals to manage their team of Personal Development Workers. You will ensure that the people we work for receive high quality, personalised, meaningful, and aspirational support.
You will support the person we work for to recruit their own bespoke team of personal development workers who are matched to their interests, aspirations and outcomes. You will manage this team of personal development workers and promote the self-managing teams approach.
You will play a key role in ensuring their support reflects the individual's needs, including autism and sensory support requirements, enabling them to enjoy everyday living and be an active and valued members of their community.

Experience of working with adults with autism and/or sensory needs is essential.
Your Skills:
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
* Effective communication with the individual, their families, and professional partners, including adapting communication methods to support sensory and communication differences.
* Strong planning, organisation, and IT skills.
* Relationship building and multi-disciplinary partnership working skills.
* An understanding of person-centred, outcomes-focused support.
* The ability to listen, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.
A relevant qualification in line with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) (e.g. SVQ 3 in Health & Social Care) or a willingness to undertake this is essential.
A full driving licence and access to a car is required for this position.
