Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a QA Engineer to work for one of our clients based in Somerset, UK. You will require 'Right to Work' in UK, unfortunately no sponsorship will be available for this role. Location: Somerset Hourly Rate: £55-£65p/h Umbrella Inside IR35 This role will require you to obtain SC clearance. Overview You should possess strong technical and engineering capabilities, including in-depth knowledge of quality assurance and control (QA/QC) practices, and hands-on experience developing and reviewing Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Proficiency in radiographic interpretation (PCN Level 2) is essential, along with a solid understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods. The candidate should be confident in reading and interpreting isometric drawings and be well-versed in pipe standards and specifications. Experience with material certification and coordinating inspection activities is also critical to ensuring compliance and quality across all project phases.
