The School for Vocational and Technical Studies at South Thames College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Plumbing lecturer to deliver outstanding teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support to students, maximizing achievement and continuous improvement.
You will play a key role in supporting curriculum development, employer engagement, and learner skills development. You will select appropriate assessment methods, assess student work and progress against criteria, and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements include a plumbing qualification (Level 3 or above), a teaching qualification, and recent teaching experience in Plumbing within an FE College. A proven record of tutoring, supporting learners, and setting and reviewing targets is essential, along with evidence of outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment.
You should have advanced computer literacy, effective presentation and time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Initiative, organization, and prioritization skills are also important.
