A multidisciplinary professional services consultancy is currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join their London-based team. This Quantity Surveyor position provides an opportunity to support the commercial delivery of UK construction projects while building solid quantity surveying experience within a collaborative team. The Quantity Surveyor will operate from the London office and contribute to the wider quantity surveying function across several sectors.

The Role
In this Quantity Surveyor role, you will assist senior cost consultants with the commercial management of projects from early design through to completion.
* Supporting cost planning, budgeting, and financial monitoring
* Assisting in the preparation of tender documentation and tender returns
* Supporting procurement activities and contractor appointments
* Preparing valuations, cost reports, and variation assessments
* Assisting with contract administration and final account processes
* Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Candidate Profile
This position will suit a committed Quantity Surveyor with relevant experience in the UK construction industry. Applications from non‑construction related backgrounds will not be considered.
Qualifications
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Experience on UK‑based construction projects
* Knowledge of common forms of construction contract
* Ability to communicate effectively with project stakeholders
* An interest in progressing towards professional chartership in quantity surveying
Compensation and Benefits
£50,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
