About the role:
A vacancy has arisen for an Associate Practitioner in our Point of Care Testing (POCT) Department based at Whittington Hospital.

The post holder will be required to perform a range of tasks on multiple pieces of POCT equipment across the clinical wards and departments the service covers, according to standard operating procedures. This will include remotely monitoring equipment and physically visiting the wards to troubleshoot and perform maintenance. The post holder will be expected to independently provide training on routine POCT equipment to service users. The role has standard working hours of 9-5:30 Monday-Friday.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys laboratory work but likes to be involved in the wider hospital environment and will involve interaction with various clinical teams across the hospital site.
Prior experience of laboratory working is essential for this role, experience working in POCT would be advantageous but full training will be given to the successful applicant.
