Overview
WAREHOUSE TEAM MANAGER (PM SHIFT) – Trafford Park Distribution Centre. We are recruiting a Team Manager to run the PM shift based at our Trafford Distribution Centre. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader of operational teams and possess a strong understanding of warehouse processes, Manhattan Warehouse Management System, and have excellent people skills.
Responsibilities
* Lead the PM shift team to deliver growth for CPD & LDB Divisions.
* Lead by example in safety management, helping to develop an interdependent culture within one of the largest teams in the DC.
* Manage the day-to-day operation in your area, ensuring that all targets are met and flexing resource to areas as needed.
* Develop a strong, collaborative working relationship with other shifts and departments (FLOWS, Stock Control, Quality Team).
* Actively contribute to the site’s key results within the Physical Distribution vision.
* Communicate effectively to warehouse colleagues, sharing UKI updates, shift briefs and general information. Ensure this is understood at all levels within your team.
* Instil feedback and a personal development culture for the PM team; conduct dedicated 1-2-1 conversations to discuss development.
* Lead your team with courage and commitment.

* Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System.
* Good level of Excel literacy and numeracy.
