About Bhuku Ltd
Bhuku Ltd is an innovative provider of prison education programmes, dedicated to improving rehabilitation, employability, and reducing reoffending. Our programmes are designed to be inclusive, trauma-informed, and outcomes-focused, giving learners the tools they need to succeed in custody and on release.
About the Programme – Skill Ninjas: Digital Literacy
You will be delivering Skill Ninjas: Digital Literacy, a structured and practical digital skills programme created by Bhuku Ltd specifically for prison learners. The programme is fully aligned with the Prison Education Specification and addresses the growing need for digital confidence as part of rehabilitation and resettlement.
The course is built around three priorities:
* Digital Confidence: helping learners use technology safely and effectively in prison and in preparation for release.
* Employability: developing practical digital skills linked to CV building, online job applications, communication, and interview preparation.
* Peer Support: training and supervising peer mentors to extend learning support across the prison.
Learners will progress through a phased journey of induction, practical digital skills workshops, peer mentor development, and final progression planning. By the end of the programme, participants will have improved digital literacy, confidence, and employability pathways, while trained peer mentors will continue supporting others beyond the contract.
The Role
As an IT Tutor (Digital Facilitator), you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of the programme. This includes:

* Embedding employability applications into delivery, helping learners prepare CVs, complete job applications, and practise interview skills.
* Ensuring delivery is inclusive, trauma-informed, and accessible to all learner groups.
* Working collaboratively with the Learning & Skills Manager and prison staff to align delivery with regime requirements.
* Completing all necessary administration, including attendance records, learner progress tracking, and outcome reporting.
