Local Business Development Manager required in Exeter
1. Main Dealer group covering Devon and Cornwall
2. Basic salary of up to £30k DOE, £52k OTE
3. Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota
Are you an experienced automotive sales professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and results-driven Local Business Development Manager to join an established main dealer group serving the Exeter, Devon area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable employer offering a rewarding package and the chance to develop your career within the motor trade.

Benefits of the Local Business Development Manager role:
4. Basic salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
5. Realistic OTE in excess of £52,000
6. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
7. Commission-based incentive scheme
8. Employee car benefit scheme
9. Monday to Friday working hours (8am to 6pm)
10. 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am to 1pm)
Duties of a Local Business Development Manager:
11. Manage all finance and insurance products in line with company policies, manufacturer standards, and legal requirements
12. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure vehicle details, specifications, and pricing are accurate and current
13. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
14. Provide expert advice on vehicle specifications, pricing, and technical data
15. Evaluate used vans and perform technical assessments on part-exchange vehicles
16. Oversee the entire sales process from initial lead contact through to vehicle delivery
17. Maintain an organised contact management system to maximise lead utilisation
18. Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements where necessary
19. Communicate clearly and promptly with customers, management, and team members
Requirements:
20. Demonstrates enthusiasm and passion for automotive sales
21. Highly driven, well-spoken, and able to communicate with clarity
22. Possesses in-depth product knowledge and has undergone sales training
23. Prides themselves on exceeding customer expectations
24. Has a solid understanding of finance products and solutions
