About you

* You've got existing connections in the dental world and understand the industry landscape
* You have a good understanding digital marketing and how it helps to grow local businesses
* You enjoy nurturing prospects through demonstrating value
* You're comfortable with B2B marketing activities including LinkedIn outreach and content engagement
* You love networking at industry events
* You're excited about growing into deeper strategic conversations and eventually leading your own team
* You understand that the best 'sales' conversations don't necessarily feel like sales at all
* You're organised, persistent (in a good way), and excellent at follow-through
What you'll actually be doing

You'll be responsible for reaching out to practices and dentists, building relationships with potential clients and nurturing them through our expertise-led approach. Think of yourself as the person who connects amazing dental practices with the marketing partner they didn't know they needed.


Relationship building and lead generation

* Proactively reach out to practices in our existing database with personalised, value-led communications about digital marketing opportunities and follow-up calls
* Utilise our FMC Dentistry audience (webinar attendees, article readers, engaged prospects) through strategic follow-up calls and outreach to discuss their digital marketing needs
* Make targeted outreach calls to potential clients to introduce XD's digital marketing services and identify growth opportunities
* Work with our FMC team to identify warm prospects and create meaningful touchpoints through direct contact about digital solutions
* Leverage your existing dental industry contacts to build genuine business relationships around digital growth
* Book qualified prospects for in-depth digital marketing consultations with our CEO (with the goal of eventually conducting these yourself)
* Follow up persistently but professionally with prospects through multiple touchpoints, sharing relevant digital marketing insights


B2B marketing and outreach

* Play a key role in our LinkedIn marketing strategy, engaging with prospects and sharing valuable content
* Create and execute nurturing campaigns that demonstrate our expertise rather than push our services
* Work with our marketing team to develop prospect-focused content and resources
* Track and optimise all outreach activities to improve conversion rates


Industry networking and events

* Represent XD at dental industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
* Prepare for events by researching attendees and identifying key prospects
* Follow up with event connections to build lasting professional relationships
* Help plan our event strategy to maximise relationship-building opportunities


Growth and progression

* Gradually take on more complex prospect conversations and consultations
* Develop your skills in strategic business discussions and solution positioning
* Eventually build and lead a client acquisition team as the business grows
* Contribute to refining our client acquisition processes and strategies
Skills and experience we're looking for
* 3 years experience in relationship-focused business development, sales or account management roles for a dental or digital growth company
* Having proven experience as a TCO could also be a great foundation for this role
* Existing network and understanding of the dental industry (preferred)
* Strong communication skills with experience in B2B relationship building
* Experience with LinkedIn and social selling approaches
* Comfortable with CRM systems and lead nurturing processes
* Event networking experience and genuine enjoyment of meeting new people
* Understanding of consultative selling approaches rather than traditional sales tactics
* Excellent organisation and follow-through capabilities

We're working to redefine success in dental practice growth by removing barriers and fostering trust and alignment between practices and their marketing partners. It's ambitious, but we're making it happen, one practice at a time.


Where is the role based?
* 1 day a week - FMC’s office in St Albans/Shenley
* 1 to 2 days a week - XD office in London
* 1 to 2 days a week - remote/home
