Personal Assistant (PA) – University of Leeds
Join to apply for the Personal Assistant (PA) role at University of Leeds.
This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
* Provision of professional high-level administrative and secretarial support to members of the Facilities Directorate’s senior management team.
* Effective management and maintenance of complex electronic diaries, proactively supporting the senior staff to achieve their objectives and priorities.
* Arranging and servicing a range of management meetings, committee groups and workshops.
* Occasionally making travel and accommodation bookings and performing financial administration such as processing claims for expenses or submitting purchase order requests.
* Confident liaison with staff across the Facilities Directorate and the University, as well as external contacts.
* Production of meeting minutes and actions.
* Use of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with other IT skills.
* Independent decision-making and use of own initiative while collaborating with the wider FD PA Team and providing cover for colleagues as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain effective and collaborative working relationships.
Significant experience working as a Personal Assistant or Secretary to senior management.
Previous experience in Higher Education would be desirable.
