The school offers weekly shifts, with the potential for long-term and consistent work for the right candidate. This role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs, particularly those with SEMH and ADHD, and assisting with general staff absence where required. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have recent experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school Be confident supporting pupils with SEMH and ADHD Hold a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Be able to work independently while also taking direction from the class teacher Demonstrate the ability to de-escalate challenging situations and manage behaviour effectively Be flexible, proactive, and able to accept morning bookings due to the nature of the role Provide a minimum of two references covering the past two years Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one through Smile EducationWhy Work with Smile Education?
