In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
* Customer Contact: Act as the single point of contact for customers regarding all service requests.
* Ticket Management: Handle Firstline Tickets, including common requests like password resets, application installs, and initial troubleshooting of technical issues.
* Pre-process service requests received via email, manual entry, or direct customer input.
* Coordinate all support groups to ensure maximum use of billable resources.
* Schedule internal and field resources using the ConnectWise dispatch portal.
* Monitor resource schedules and ensure prompt time entry on service requests.
* Customer Communication: Keep customers informed of incident progress, impending changes, and agreed outages.
* Scripting & Projects: The apprentice will be involved in multiple scripting tasks (e.g., PowerShell and Batch Scripts) to contribute to specific projects (meeting Project 3.9 requirements).
* Adhere to and help refine company processes and procedures.
* Manage your workload effectively to meet and exceed KPIs and targets.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

* Resilient and able to work under pressure
* Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English
Salary, Hours&Benefits:
* £16,000 per annum
* 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday
* Hybrid role 2 days from home and 3 days from the office
* 30 days annual leave including Bank Holidays, 1 extra day per year of service for up to 5 years.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we'll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You'll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you'll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You'll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
