In the capacity of Trainee Team Leader; you'll start by learning the basics as a General Operative, as you learn the business, at your own pace you'll move into a Senior Operative role of your choice. Finally, when you're ready, you'll take charge of your first team. Alongside the formal training, you will complete a Level 3 ILM qualification and bespoke company training, ensuring you feel supported and inspired to fast‑track your development.
Responsibilities
* Team Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
* Training and Development: Provide on‑the‑job training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
* Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
* Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and compliance with relevant legislation.
* Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the production process and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, team performance, and any issues that arise, reporting to senior management as required.
* Communication: Serve as a liaison between the production team and upper management, facilitating clear and effective communication.

* GCSE’s grade C and above in English, Maths and Science is a requirement (Required).
* Relevant certifications in food safety, health and safety, or meat processing (Desired).
Experience
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (Desired).
* Experience in a supervisory or leadership role (Desired).
