About the Role
Are you ready to take on a role where your organisational skills and attention to detail truly make a difference? We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join us as PA to the Director of Thriving Communities. This is more than just a support role—it’s a chance to be at the heart of a dynamic team that is shaping services and making a real impact in our communities.
As the PA to the Director, you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring everything runs smoothly. From managing complex diaries and coordinating high-level meetings to handling sensitive information with discretion, you’ll play a vital role in keeping things on track. Your ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressure will be key, as will your commitment to delivering exceptional service every time.
This is a role for someone who loves variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own workload, make decisions confidently, and support the Director in achieving strategic goals. Plus, with line management responsibilities, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and inspire others, helping to create a positive and productive team culture.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an experienced PA who has supported senior leaders—ideally at Director or Assistant Director level. If you’ve worked in local government before, that’s a bonus, and experience with statutory roles such as a Section 151 Officer would be highly valued. Political awareness and the ability to navigate complex environments will help you succeed, and if you’ve worked in a service that adds real value to communities, we’d love to hear about it.
