Health & Safety Consultant – Milton Keynes Region (South of England Coverage)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 Benefits: Travel expenses, pension, 31 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays) Location: Milton Keynes or South of England, with extensive travel & occasional overnights

This is an exciting permanent opportunity for someone who thrives in a mobile, varied role and brings strong expertise in fire safety and H&S auditing.
The Role
A key, high‑impact position supporting multiple sites across the southern region, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, compliance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct health & safety audits across the region
*
Lead on fire safety compliance and complete fire risk assessments
*
Provide expert advice on H&S policies and procedures
*
Support management teams to maintain strong safety standards
*
Deliver training and awareness sessions where required
*
Travel extensively to client sites, with occasional overnight stays
Candidate Requirements
*
Minimum 2 years’ UK Health & Safety experience
*
NEBOSH qualification
*
Recognised fire safety qualification
*
Strong experience in fire risk assessments
*
Candidates with advanced fire safety and H&S auditing experience are highly desirable
*
Full driving licence and own vehicle
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
Ability to manage a busy, mobile schedule with resilience and flexibility
