We are looking for 2 highly motivated and enthusiastic Health Visitors or School Nurses to join our excellent team of 0‑19 Team Leaders across Staffordshire. You will need to be enthusiastic, experienced, skilled and dynamic to join the team in clinically leading and managing the 0‑19 service across either the Cannock district team as a full‑time position or the South Staffordshire district team as a job‑share opportunity with the existing Team Leader.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship for the 18.75 hour post. If it is identified that you require sponsorship to undertake this role your application may be withdrawn.
Locations & Working patterns
* Cannock District 0‑19 team – 1 WTE (37.5hrs pw) based at Norton Canes HC, WS11 9QA
* South Staffordshire District 0‑19 team – 0.5 WTE (18.75 hrs pw) job share based at Codsall HC, WV8 1BZ
Main duties of the job
* Lead and manage a team delivering the 0‑19 Healthy Child Programme for a varied, unique and diverse population, in supportive skill mix teams.
* Provide daily advice and support to a dedicated 0‑19 team of professionals.
* Excel in communication and interpersonal skills, influence and lead others, manage workload and support colleagues.
* Work closely with partner agencies across health, social care and the local authority.
* Travel within the Trust as required.
Job responsibilities
* Lead and manage a group of staff within the FHWS Service within a designated area to support children, young people and their families and carers.
* Identify and bring to attention any gaps in quality of service, budget or performance deficits to the Service Manager.
* Support the team in clinical activities to maintain performance where necessary.
Qualifications
* NMC registered
* SCPHN qualification
* Evidence of leadership training
* Masters qualification (desirable)
Experience
* Experience in managing a team or service (essential)
* Experience in managing change (desirable)
