Trainee Management Accountant
to join our dynamic Controls Finance team on a full-time, permanent basis! Your Role
In this pivotal position, you will report directly to the Finance Business Partner Controls. Your responsibilities will include: Fixed Asset Accounting:
Manage the Fixed Asset Register for Sysco GB divisions, ensuring accurate monthly depreciation postings across multiple ERPs. Quarterly Verification:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to verify asset existence and assess their remaining Useful Economic Life. Assets Under Construction:
Monitor and liaise with stakeholders to identify completion points for capitalizing identifiable assets. Intercompany Recharges:
Monthly monitoring and reconciliation of intercompany transactions between Sysco GB divisions and Sysco Ireland. Reporting:
Contribute to the Group Consolidation System (BPC) and perform monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations using the Cadency Trintech tool. Audit Support:
Assist with both external and internal audits, as well as annual statutory accounts and corporation tax support. Ad Hoc Projects:

This is a home-based role, but you will need to visit our Ashford, Kent office once a week for team collaboration and meetings. Flexibility is key! What We’re Looking For
You should have: A background in a fast-paced finance environment. AAT Level 4 qualification, part qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA), or a Finance/Accounting degree (or equivalent). A desire to pursue or continue studying towards your CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification. Key Skills
