Role Description
The Family Chemist is seeking a full-time Prescribing Pharmacist to join our Nottingham-based team in an on-site capacity. This role involves managing prescription services, assessing patient needs, and providing professional advice on medications and treatments. Key responsibilities include dispensing medications, conducting clinical checks, offering one-to-one consultations, and maintaining patient confidentiality and care quality. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.
Qualifications
* GPhC registered pharmacist with independent prescribing qualification
* Strong clinical expertise in prescription management, medication counseling, and patient care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and active listening
* Proficient in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
* Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
