1. 35 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks)

To be responsible directly to the school Office Manager for the efficient operation of administration functions of the school. The post holder has day to day contact with the Headteacher, staff, pupils, parents and Governors, as well as staff from Swale Academies Trust, other agencies, other schools, the local community and representatives of a wide variety of goods and services.

Main duties and responsibilities (Accountabilities):

2. Administration and filing
3. Monitoring admin inboxes and provide a first point of contact
4. Management of calendars, including calendars for the Head Teacher
5. Effectively communicate with parents
6. Administering school parentpay and pupil data systems
7. Perform daily clerical tasks, including dealing with emails, post & messages
8. Undertake a range of secretarial duties as directed by the Office Manager
9. Assist in maintaining the Team’s central filing system
10. Assist in maintaining and updating pupil files
11. Deal with any emergency issues in the absence of office colleagues
12. Assist to maintain general office systems
13. Assist with school photos and vaccinations procedures
14. Reception relief cover, where required
15. Organise tours/coffee mornings as required
16. To carry out other duties as requested by the Office Manager
