Consultant in Clinical Oncology, specialising in Skin and Colorectal

Following a substantial investment into the service, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly department in the heart of beautiful Devon.
Applicants are invited to apply for a substantive Consultant position in Clinical Oncology, with a special interest in Skin and Colorectal Cancer, to join our established Oncology team. This is a full-time, substantive post based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, available from 1st April 2026. Candidates should have a CCT in Clinical Oncology or be within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview. The role focuses on providing high-quality patient care, contributing to multidisciplinary efforts, and advancing clinical practice within our oncology department.

Royal Devon and University Hospital is committed to exceptional patient care. Our Oncology Department leads in cancer treatment and research, emphasizing innovative and compassionate care.
Opportunities exist for teaching and research collaborations with Exeter Medical School and other universities. A general interest in clinical research is desirable, as the post holder will be expected to recruit to the Trust NCRI and Commercial study portfolios. We are part of the Peninsula Clinical and Medical Oncology training programs and accept IMT trainees.
