Location: Derby
Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 basic (depending on qualifications and experience)
Sign-On Bonus: £1,500
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am 4pm (flexible as long as 42 hours are fulfilled) no weekend work or bank holidays!
Were looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our client in Derby in a hybrid workshop/mobile role, working primarily on Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) with the exciting opportunity to train on HGVs. From day one, youll have a clear roadmap to progress to Master Technician, gaining skills and qualifications along the way.

Key responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain LCVs (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical systems)
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
Keep accurate records of work and parts used
Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and recommendations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Requirements:
Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification
Confident in diagnostic work
Full UK driving license
