We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our school, committed to providing SEN learners with memorable experiences and stimulating activities that enhance self-esteem and promote independence.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students' well-being and help them reach their full potential by fostering independence and managing positive behaviors. You will also collaborate with educators to deliver an innovative, tailored curriculum that meets each student's unique needs.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Desirable: Working towards Level 2 award in Support Work in Schools or equivalent
* Desirable: Classroom experience
* Essential: GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above
* Understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures
* Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
* Commitment to prioritizing the child's needs and treating them as an individual
* Positive and creative approach to meeting pupils' needs
