Assistant Accountant (Part-Time) Tewkesbury 22.5 hours per week Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Competitive Salary Benefits SourceCo are currently hiring for a well established and highly respected regional business who are hiring for a detail oriented Assistant Accountant to join its Finance Team on a part time basis. Operating from a modern site in Tewkesbury, the company works closely with local suppliers and communities and has built a strong reputation for quality, sustainability and long term growth. The Role Working closely with the Financial Accountant and wider Finance Team, you will support the day to day financial operations while ensuring accurate financial records, reconciliations and reporting. Key Responsibilities Maintain financial records including bank postings and reconciliations Raise tenant rent invoices and manage associated credit control Prepare month-end accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Balance intercompany accounts Support annual audit requirements Transfer operational data into relevant finance systems and spreadsheets Perform supplier statement reconciliations Upload BACS payment files to the banking system What Were Looking For Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Ability to work independently and manage priorities A supportive team player with a proactive attitude AAT Level 3 or Level 4 (preferred) Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Word Experience using Sage accounting systems (Sage 200 desirable) Whats On Offer Competitive salary 22 days holiday bank holidays (pro rata) Pension scheme with employer contribution Health & wellbeing support Cycle to Work scheme Employee referral bonus scheme Staff discounts on company products A friendly, supportive finance team within a well-established business
