Are you an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant looking for your next challenge? Do you enjoy working closely with clients to design and deliver solutions that make a real impact? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.
You’ll join a well-established Microsoft partner, working across diverse projects from SMEs to large enterprises. This role will give you the chance to combine your technical expertise with client-facing consulting, while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner with new and existing clients to analyse business processes and gather requirements
2. Evaluate requests for feasibility, including cost/benefit analysis
3. Develop a deep understanding of Business Central data structures and process flows
4. Produce functional proposals and documentation for client review
5. Create technical documentation to guide developers and technical teams
6. Design and manage test plans, coordinating execution with colleagues and clients
7. Oversee the deployment of new developments and ensure smooth adoption
8. Provide post-implementation support, including end-user training and issue resolution
Qualifications & Experience
9. Degree (or equivalent) in IT, Accounting, or related discipline, with relevant product certifications OR a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a consulting role within the industry, including at least 3 years with the same organisation
10. Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (administration, upgrades, migrations, and customisations)
11. Strong expertise in financial management, accounting, and/or supply chain management
12. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
13. Experience with Power BI, Jet Reports, or other BI tools (advantageous)
14. Familiarity with other Microsoft Dynamics products (NAV, GP, SL, CRM) is a plus
15. Project management experience is desirable
16. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a continuous learning mindset
17. Full UK driving licence (required for client visits)
