Are you a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with behavioural needs? We're recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking school in Accrington that is seeking a Behaviour Specialist TA to join their team from September 2025.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where your skills and experience will make a real impact on students' lives. The role is full-time and long-term, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.?? The Role:
* Supporting pupils with behavioural challenges, both 1:1 and in small groups
* Implementing behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
* Working closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and class teachers
* Helping to create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
? What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs or challenging behaviour
* A calm, confident, and proactive approach
* Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills
* Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour support (Team Teach, MAPA, etc.) are highly desirable.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
