INTERNAL SALES / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – UNITECH ENGINEERING LTD – RAF-4097

Unitech offers a variety of bespoke and standard high-quality stainless steel and aluminium equipment for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other hygiene conscious industries, the scope of this extremely interesting tele-sales role is endless. This role would suit a candidate who has worked previously as an Internal Sales Representative / Co-Ordinator.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Thursday - 08:30 – 17:00
Fridays – 14:00
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Director, your role will be to identify new sales prospects through lead sourcing initiatives, maintain & strengthen relationships with existing customers to generate sales. Other duties involved are outlined below:
Main duties will include:
* Use research tools such as Google, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms to identify potential new customers and contacts.
* Proactively use telephone / email as a means to introduce the Company to respective new customers.
* Actively pursue and establish new accounts.
* Update and maintain existing customer and new prospective contacts, respond and follow up all sales enquires.
* Maintain and update Maximizer CRM.
* Assist with organising marketing activities within budget and timescales including product launch promotions, advertising, exhibitions, and telemarketing.
* Quotation generation and processing of sales orders.
* Arrange customer appointments for Area Sales Managers where required.
* Assist the Area Sales Managers to ensure the Regional sales target is achieved.
* Assist with general sales activities.
* Any other duties commensurate with the development of sales.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven record of customer service skills.
* A proactive approach in generating sales leads & new business by phone, must possess previous experience of working in a similar position.
* Using Maximizer or similar CRM system.
* Organizational and IT skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are a prerequisite of this role along with the ability to manage and prioritize your workload using their own initiative.
* Tenacity and positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure in a target driven environment and deliver on timelines set.
* Ability to work either within a team or individually.
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with attention to detail being a crucial element.
