Robert Half Ltd are delighted to be partnering with an exciting business based in Oxford that are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the team for a 1 year FTC. The Accounts Payable Assistant plays a key role in supporting the finance team by ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining supplier relationships, and contributing to month-end and reporting activities.
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage daily operations of the accounts payable inbox, ensuring timely response and action.
2. Support the processing of various invoice types, including purchase order, non-purchase order, and intercompany transactions.
3. Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoice-related queries.
4. Ensure accurate coding of invoices in line with financial guidelines.
5. Perform supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding invoices.
6. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoice processing.
7. Contribute to month-end closing activities.
8. Assist with tasks related to the implementation of an electronic invoicing system.
9. Create and maintain fixed asset records.
10. Support quarterly financial reporting requirements.
