Overview
Business Development Executive - Cardiff. This entry‑level role at Budweiser Brewing Group (AB InBev) focuses on account management to deepen relationships with Regional Wholesalers and Pub Company Partners, while also winning and developing new accounts. This is a field‑based role covering Cardiff (postcodes P10, SA, CF, NP, HR, LD). A current UK Driving License is required, and applicants must be located within the specified postcodes.
We are looking for a candidate who is a strong relationship builder with commercial acumen and the ability to deliver KPI results, while embracing our ten key principles.
Responsibilities
* Grow distribution, volume, profitability, and brand experience within a portfolio of On-Trade accounts.
* Own an aligned territory with the opportunity to increase share, volume, and commercial results.
* Retain & Grow AB InBev share/sales within Regional Wholesale Partners.
* Retain & Grow AB InBev share/sales within Pub Companies.
* Develop knowledge of brewing processes, beer types and styles, handling, tasting, and serving to enhance consumer and customer experience on‑premises.
* Own annual individual customer planning, promotional evaluation, and customer sell‑back.
* Manage territory spend and budget.
* Build strong business relationships with Regional Sales Managers, key customers, and consumer groups.
* Execute call cycles and perform administrative duties (routine management).
* Maintain current knowledge of products within the category.
* Build and evolve a network with other sales professionals across AB InBev.
Who we’re looking for
* Passion for beer and the food industry; hospitality experience (e.g., bar work, waiter/waitress) is preferred.
* Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment; analytical with solid business acumen.
* Excellent relationship‑building and follow‑up skills.
* Enthusiastic, motivated, driven, ambitious, and resilient.
* Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
* Flexible with irregular hours to be present during key on‑premise periods (including some evenings and weekends).
