Overview
As Project Manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organisation and timeline.
Responsibilities
* Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability/allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
* Business Development/Identifying Project Opportunities.
* Reaching out to clients, maintaining open dialogue where possible to build stronger relationships and secure more work.
* Drive Primech’s financial growth.
* Develop and Manage Enquiries: interact with clients, the pre-construction team and sub-contractors to ensure project submissions and deadlines are achieved.
* Sub Contractor Selection and Management: procure and interact with numerous sub-contractors and review their suitability regularly; actively encourage feedback from the team on sub-contractor performance.
* Financial Responsibility: work with procurement to ensure correct materials and labour are scheduled to deliver projects on time within financial requirements; approve materials requested by others; manage and approve payments to employees, sub-contractors and suppliers and invoicing clients.
* Project Management: lead the review and management of multi-discipline projects; attend on-site surveys; coordinate design reviews and client approvals; manage mobilisation; organise pre-start meetings with detailed programmes and financial implications; raise RFIs; ensure seamless mobilisation; establish regular communication channels; conduct on-site reviews; run project delivery meetings; provide leadership to the Project Delivery Team.
* Ensure project documentation and communications support successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
* Background in M&E Engineering, with business skills preferred; management, budgeting and analysis experience.
* Excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks; team player with problem-solving aptitude.
* Experience within the M&E industry with a reliable track record.
