Holiday Inn Maidstone Sevenoaks has 106 guest bedrooms. We offer a full a la carte menu in our restaurant, as well as bar meals and snacks in our large bar and open lobby lounge area. We also have a large academy area for business meetings, conferences and functions and are licensed to hold weddings.
The hotel is ideally placed with link access to the M20 and M26.
We are looking for a Food and Beverage manager to join the team.
The role of the Food and Beverage Manager includes but is not limited to:
* Ensuring that you and your team deliver the warmest welcome and friendly service to all our guests everyday. It is your job to help build and manage a team who put the guest at the heart of everything they do. You will help lead and develop a team who constantly deliver results and excel in guest relations.
* Take responsibility for the management and performance of the department.
* Supervise and manage the implementation of F&B standards and procedures.
* Ensure all team members are fully trained in on job skills and support their personal development/career path
* To work alongside other Hotel Managers but in particular the Head Chef and Sales Manager
* Ensure the team act upon all selling opportunities throughout the Food and Beverage Department through encouragement and incentivisation
* To carry out Duty Manager Shifts in the hotels as per rota
* Ensure communication throughout the department and hotel is effective on a daily basis
* To attend and contribute to daily, and weekly team meetings. To run your own department team meetings.
* To be a good example of hotel dress code
* Control and analyse department costs against budget
* Work towards achieving budgeted revenue for the department
A thorough understanding and knowledge of the following would also be desirable:
* Licensing Laws
* Health and Safety Procedures
* Food Handling and Hygiene Laws
* Allergens
* First Aid
A confident demeanour, a friendly genuine smile and the ability to talk to customers from all walks of life are a must

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Experience:
* food and beverage hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
