Park Vet Group are recruiting for a part-time Patient Care Assistant based at their Glenfield branch. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with a friendly and supportive nursing and client care team. In this role we do require flexibility for administration tasks on reception. This is a permanent part-time position working 28h per week Friday-Monday 2pm-10pm. The role of the patient care assistant (PCA) is critical in delivering quality patient care and an unrivalled client experience through teamwork, clear communication and utilisation of your knowledge and skills. You will be a key member of the nursing team, working collaboratively with a variety of teams members, including veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, and members of the leadership team. You will work under the delegation of a Vet or Registered Veterinary Nurse to support patient care. Deliver high quality patient care, utilising your developing experience and skills. Work and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. Demonstrate the ability to be reliable, adaptable, understanding, and empathetic. Administration duties including answering telephone calls, booking appointments, taking payments. Maintain accurate client and patient records. Contribute to an outstanding client experience. Always provide an efficient, courteous, and helpful service to all clients, suppliers, and external contacts.
